A pair of Loyola senior student-athletes signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday (Nov. 13) in Otero Lecture Hall, with All-American soccer midfielder Grayson Doody ’20 signing with UCLA and CIF Champion golfer Brian Arnold ’20 signing with UC Santa Barbara.
A four-year varsity team member, Arnold had a standout junior season on the greens that was capped by a 2019 Mission League championship, a CIF team championship and placement on the All-Mission League First Team.
On the pitch, Doody was named an Allstate All-American after helping the Cubs to a 24-2-2 overall record in 2018. He started every game for the nationally-ranked Cubs, earning an All-Mission League First Team nod after finishing second on the team in assists (12), goals (5) and points (22).
Congratulations to our Cubs!
