Five Loyola Water Polo players earned recognition on the 2018 All So-Cal and All California/Hawaii All-American teams announced today (Feb. 7).
USC-bound senior captain Stefan Vavic ’19 earned First Team honors on both the All So-Cal and All California All-American list. Fellow senior captain and USC commit Chris Agliozzo ’19 was named to the All So-Cal Second Team and All-American Third Team, as was junior attacker Carson Kranz ’20.
Another junior attacker, Owen Hale ’20, was tabbed Second Team All So-Cal and Fourth Team All-American. Rounding out Loyola’s list of honorees was US Naval Academy commit and senior co-captain Jake Altmayer ’19, who was named Fifth Team All So-Cal and an Eighth Team All-American.
The All So-Cal and All California/Hawaii All-American lists were voted on by high school coaches around the state/West Coast. The five Cubs honored this year marks the most ever in a single season for the Loyola Water Polo program.
