On Saturday, September 8, the Loyola Cubs Cross Country team came in 1st overall at the Rosemead Invitational. Loyola won with a score of 40 points. Arroyo High School came in 2nd with a score of 86 points.
In the boy’s senior race, Loyola came in 1st, scoring 28 points. Senior Mason Ratkovich placed second with a time of 14:43.5.
In the boy’s junior race, Loyola came in 3rd, scoring 95 points. Junior Anthony Stone came in 2nd with a time of 15:08.
In the boy’s sophomore race, Loyola came in 2nd, scoring 111 points. Sophomore Zachary Zambrano placed 2nd with a time of 15:06.3.
In the boy’s freshman race, Loyola came in 1st, scoring 36 points. Freshman Nick Castain came in 1st with a time of 16:36.1.
