Santa Margarita scores, bringing the match to a tie in the 22nd minute. Michael Maloney ’20 scores a great header over a Santa Margarita defender to make the score 2-1 Loyola in the 30th minute. The first half ends 2-1 Loyola.
The second half of the game begins as both teams go back and forth attacking. In the 50th minute Eric Arreola ‘20 scores and makes the score 3-1 Loyola. Loyola stays on the offensive with multiple near scores throughout the second half and the game ends with an emphatic win for the Cubs 3-1.
